John Erickson who was the Milwaukee Bucks general manager from 1968 to 1970 and Wisconsin Badgers men’s basketball coach from 1960 to 1968 was 92.
Erickson was famously the Bucks general manager when Milwaukee won a coin flip with the Phoenix Suns that allowed them to select eventual NBA career scoring leader Kareem Abdul-Jabbar who was then known as Lew Alcindor in the 1969 draft.
