GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Demolition day has been set to make way for Green Bay’s first Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen restaurant.
The fast-food chain will be located at 1860 W. Mason St.
The site was once home to Storheims Frozen Custard, Gilly’s Frozen Custard and Burger House 41.
Demolition of the current building on the property will begin Tuesday.
Then crews will construct a new building for the restaurant.
Construction is expected to be complete by fall.
There are Popeyes restaurants in Appleton, Fond du Lac and Manitowoc.
