OCONTO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Vincent Enneper was convicted Tuesday of injuring his three-month-old daughter, and will be sentenced April 20.
Enneper, 25, pleaded no contest to child abuse-recklessly causing great harm and neglecting a child-consequence is great bodily harm, court records show.
According to the criminal complaint, Children’s Wisconsin in Wauwatosa called police Jan. 9, 2020, because the child arrived with significant head trauma.
Scans showed multiple skull fractures, a brain bleed, and the baby was seizing since arriving at Children’s,” the complaint states.
Enneper was home alone with the girl. He said the girl fell and hit the hardwood floor, but the injuries were inconsistent with that explanation. He denied acting forcibly towards the girl.
In 2012, Enneper, then a teenager, was convicted of setting fire to St. Anthony School in Oconto Falls. He was sentenced to five years in prison, and was released from prison in February, 2017, according to state prison records.
