GREEN BAY (WTAQ-WLUK) — A search warrant which included a SWAT team presence in Green Bay Sunday ended peacefully.
Green Bay police say they executed a search warrant at a residence in the 800 block of Shawano Avenue Sunday at approximately 10 a.m.
The search warrant was in relation to an overnight crime at the home. Police did not specify the crime.
Green Bay police and Brown County Sheriff’s both had Bearcat SWAT vehicles on scene for the incident.
A stretch of Shawano Avenue from 12th avenue to Woodlawn Avenue was blocked off until roughly 1 p.m.
No injuries were reported as a result of the incident, and police are not considering the incident a standoff.
