MARINETTE, WI (WTAQ) – A jury trial starts today for a man charged in the 1976 slayings of a couple in Marinette County.
84 year old Raymand Vannieuwenhoven is charged with two counts of 1st Degree Murder for the deaths of David Schuldes and Ellen Matheys.
The case has been delayed several times in the past two years due to competency hearings and other motions.
