NEENAH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The Neenah School District will close Roosevelt Elementary School after the 2022-23 school year, as part of a series of changes under its facilities plan.
After voters approved a referendum for a new high school, several other changes are being made. As part of that, the 99-year-old Roosevelt school will close, with students moving to Horace Mann – which will become a 5K-grade 4 school.
The next phase of the facilities plan was approved by the school board, 6-3, on Tuesday night.
The current Wilson attendance area students will also move to Mann. The current Wilson facility will be used for the Alliance Charter School.
As part of the $115 million referendum, the new Neenah High will open in fall, 2023.
