GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A “critical staff shortage” is continuing to impact learning at some Green Bay Area Public School District schools.
The district announced Thursday that Preble High School and Edison Middle School will conduct virtual learning Friday-Tuesday.
Friday will be what the district calls an asynchronous learning day for students. Teachers will be contacting families and students about virtual instruction for Monday and Tuesday.
Edison students can pick up meals those three days from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Door No. 7. Meal pick-up at Preble will be available at the Food Service window during that same time.
Co-curricular activities will continue as scheduled, unless noted otherwise. If the staff shortage at one or both schools is not resolved by the end of the day Tuesday, the district will contact families by 9 p.m. if remote learning will continue.
