TWO RIVERS, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – An off-duty police officer was arrested under suspicion of an OWI on Saturday night.
The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office was sent to investigate a two vehicle crash in the City of Two Rivers.
There were no injuries from the crash.
After the investigation, Officer Tanner Schmidt of the Two Rivers Police Department was arrested and later released to a responsible party.
The incident is under internal investigation by the Two Rivers Police Department, and no further information is being released at this time.
