FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – One of the people described as a ringleader of a cocaine distribution ring was convicted Tuesday.
Nicole Cassola, 32, pleaded no contest to conspiracy to deliver cocaine, while a second delivery count was dropped, court records show. A sentencing date was not immediately available.
Cassola and Danny Andrews were in charge of a cocaine ring which sold more than 120 pounds of drugs valued at nearly $10 million across the Fond du Lac area between July 2017 and April 2018, police and prosecutors say.
Cassola was sentenced to four years in prison in March 2018 on separate drug counts.
Andrews was sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2019.
Fourteen others were also charged in the case.
