HOWARD, WI (WTAQ) — Work has started back up again on Highway 29 in Brown County near Hobart and Howard.
Jesse Hanson with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation says the work started earlier this week.
“The construction started last Spring, and was temporarily suspended over the winter due to the frost,” Hanson told WTAQ. “October 15th is the project completion date, and it is on schedule.”
The $25.4 million project aims to improve the interchange with County Highway VV by making safety and accessibility upgrades.
Bridge work began this week. Daytime, off-peak lane closures are expected next week.
