PULASKI, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Nsight Teleservices unveiled its $2.2 million fiber internet expansion project in Pulaski.
It’s going to bring fiber-to-the-premise to every address for people living in that area.
Fiber internet offers faster speeds, more bandwidth and improved reliability.
The internet will offer internet speeds starting at 300 megabits per second, up to a gigabit.
“Right now the villages are on a copper network and they have DSL and we’ve worked really hard to keep that network as upgraded as we can. But the data needs the people have, the streaming, the gaming, is outside that kind of a network,” said CEO of Nsight Teleservices, Brighid Riordan.
In addition to Nsight Telservices investment, the project is being supported by a $23,400 commitment from the village of Pulaski.
The goal is to have the new internet ready for people in Pulaski by the fall.
Details on plans, pricing and installation dates will be shared as the project progressesĀ online.
