Acturius Milner was killed Thursday at The Mirage hotel. His cousin, Billy Hemsley, was arrested.
The Clark County Coroner’s office confirmed Milner’s hometown to FOX 11.
The shooting led to a brief lockdown of The Mirage, in which hotel guests and people on the casino floor could not leave the premises as police responded.
Hemsley was ultimately arrested at a bus stop near Nellis Boulevard and Twain Avenue in the east Las Vegas valley Friday morning.
After his arrest, Hemsley allegedly told police he got angry with Milner as they were “play fighting” and shot him, per the arrest report. He also shot two women who were staying with them, leaving them with critical injuries.
Hemsley is facing charges of open murder and two counts of attempted murder.
