LAWRENCE, WI (WLUK) — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in the town of Lawrence late Friday night.
At approximately 9:08 p.m., Hobart-Lawrence Police responded to a pedestrian versus vehicle incident on I-41 Southbound, south of CTH S.
According to a release from police, the vehicle was going southbound when it hit the pedestrian in the lane of traffic. The driver, a 20-year-old male from Appleton, was not injured, but the vehicle sustained heavy front-end damage.
The pedestrian, a 40-year-old Green Bay male, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The names of both the driver and the pedestrian are not being released at this time.
