APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Michael Miller was sentenced Friday to six years in prison for stabbing another man in the neck.
He was also placed on extended supervision for five years after being convicted of aggravated battery while intending to cause great bodily harm, according to a court official.
Miller, 63, stabbed the victim in December, 2021, at a residence on College Avenue.
According to the criminal complaint, Miller and the victim got into an argument, though the specific reason for it is not explained. The two men knew each other. The victim suffered a single stab wound, about one inch deep, on the right side of his neck.
