GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Green Bay apartment building is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Just a few months ago, Mason Manor at 1424 Admiral Court was added to the State Register of Historic Places.
Constructed in 1971, the eight-story building was built to address the housing needs of low-income senior citizens at a time when affordable housing throughout the city was being razed to make way for urban renewal and private developments.
Following federal rules, 85% of Mason Manor’s residents are older or disabled.
