WISCONSIN (WTAQ-WLUK) — Tuesday is election day, and everyone in Wisconsin has at least one race on the ballot.
The election is a primary to choose finalists for the April 4 general election.
Visit the MyVote Wisconsin website to see what’s on your ballot, find out where to vote and how to register. The spring primary is for nonpartisan offices, so the candidates on the ballot do not run as members of a party.
The one statewide race is for state Supreme Court. Voters will choose one of four candidates: Jennifer Dorow, Daniel Kelly, Everett Mitchell and Janet Protasiewicz. The top two vote-getters will advance to the April general election.
Another key race in Northeast Wisconsin is for Green Bay mayor. Incumbent Eric Genrich is being challenged by Paul Boucher, Jane Juza and Chad Weininger. Again, the top two vote-getters will advance to the general election.
In Outagamie County, incumbent county executive Tom Nelson is facing a challenge from Justin Krueger and Kevin Sturn.
Many other communities will have races on the ballot for offices such as village president, city council, village and town board, and school board.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m.-8 p.m.
