TOWN OF WINNEBAGO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The state is investigating the death of an inmate at the Winnebago Correctional Center.
The death happened March 4, but no other details are being released.
“There will be multiple reviews, by DOC and local authorities,” said John Beard, Dept. of Corrections Director of Communications.
Winnebago Correctional Center is a minimum-security facility with an operating capacity of 266 adult males, according to the DOC website.
