BROWN COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Brown County is gearing up for warmer weather.
The county says boat landings are scheduled to open with docks being installed within the next week.
Suamico Launch docks are expected to be installed Thursday and the docks at Bay Shore Park Boat Launch are scheduled to be installed late next week.
Meanwhile, Lily Lake is open. Visitors should be on the lookout for a new kayak rental program beginning early this summer.
A launch permit is required for any watercraft using the facilities. A daily permit of $6 can be purchased on location or an annual permit of $60 can be purchased online.
