GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – After nearly 770 residents provided their feedback in a survey from the Green Bay Police Department, the community finally had the chance to hear the results of the officer engagement survey.
GBPD released the information Tuesday evening at the Bay Beach Amusement Park’s main pavilion.
“It tells us number one that we’re actually doing pretty well in terms of public confidence in the Green Bay Police Department. That is good to see, said GBPD Chief Chris Davis. “We also asked people to talk about the things they most want to see. Obviously, towards the top of that list is ability to do police work, to go out in the community, solve crimes, solve problems.”
Davis says people also said they appreciate interpersonal skills and officers’ ability to show compassion.
