(WTAQ-WLUK) — A Milwaukee-based air refueling wing will be performing flyovers Tuesday over several locations, including Lambeau Field.
The 128th Air Refueling Wing is marking a century of work. Based out of Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport the 128 ARW, “Brew City Tankers,” operate 10 KC-135 Stratotankers on behalf of the Air National Guard and U.S. Air Force Air Mobility Command.
“Milwaukee’s Hometown Brew City Tankers have provided essential fuel to U.S. and NATO receivers in every major conflict since 1963,” said Col. Adria Zuccaro, 128 ARW Wing Commander. “One hundred years of experience has trained us well, and we are ready to deliver unstoppable air power across the world.”
Among the planned low-pass flyovers:
- 10:50 a.m. — Lambeau Field
- 11:00 a.m. — Door County, east of Bailey’s Harbor
The route also includes passing over Oshkosh and near Weyauwega but at a higher altitude.
Other locations include American Family Field, the state Capitol, the Wisconsin Dells, Volk Field and the Minnesota State Capitol.

Tankers also carry cargo and passengers, perform aeromedical evacuations and enable strategic deterrence for the United States,” the unit said.
