MARINETTE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A man on a bike was killed after a hit-and-run on the Interstate Bridge in the City and County of Marinette, authorities say.
Marinette County Dispatch received a 911 call at approximately 2:18 a.m. Saturday, reporting the biker who was hit by a vehicle.
Reports say that on arrival, officers found a 48-year-old man who was unresponsive.
Life saving measures were taken, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The name of the deceased man is not being released at this time.
The Marinette Police Department is currently trying to locate the suspect vehicle that fled the scene.
