GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A Brown County jury convicted Marcus Stokes for the 2020 murder of Calvin Barber on Green Bay’s east side.
Stokes, 36, faces a mandatory life prison term when sentenced Sept. 22. The judge can decide if Stokes will be eligible to ask for parole at some point, or never be eligible.
A jury convicted Stokes Thursday, after a four-day trial, court records show.
Barber was found dead in his home on Imperial Lane in March 2020.
