GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A former Green Bay YMCA member was charged Thursday with allegedly taking a nude video of a child in a locker room at the Howard facility.
Michael Winfree, 48, is charged with capturing an intimate representation without consent of a minor victim. He was previously charged with other counts of possession of child pornography. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Monday.
According to the criminal complaint, investigators found a video slightly more than two minutes in length, recorded in the family locker room.
Winfree allegedly set up a camera to record between the stalls, where the dividers do not reach the floor. A 7-year-old boy enters the stall, changes from street clothes into a swimming suit, with the video capturing nude images of the child, the complaint states.
In June, after the recording was discovered, the YMCA and police conducted a search of the property to ensure there were no other recording devices. None were found.
