FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A man charged with stabbing another man outside a Fond du Lac bar has been convicted.
Vickendrika Jones, 31, was convicted of attempted first degree intentional homicide after entering a no contest plea Tuesday.
The Aug. 6, 2022 stabbing outside the Press Box stemmed from an altercation, the complaint says.
The victim received multiple stab wounds and a friend drove the victim to the hospital where he received lifesaving surgery. The surgeon said that the victim would likely have died if not for the surgical procedure.
Jones faces up to 65 tears of confinement with up to 40 years of initial prison confinement and up to 25 years of extended supervision.
Sentencing is set for Oct. 30.
