FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The 56-year-old Fond du Lac man who was reported missing in early August has been found dead, according to police.
A Missing Endangered Person Alert for Troy Zupke was issued by the Fond du Lac Police Department on Aug. 6. Searches were subsequently conducted by the FDLPD Drone Unit and Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team around Lakeside Park where Zupke’s vehicle was located.
Just after 1 p.m. on Aug. 19, officials were called to the 300 block of Willow Drive for a report of a deceased individual in a dense wooded area behind a home.
The individual was identified as Zupke. Officials suspect the cause of death was suicide.
