GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A national tour that offers hands-on demonstrations of the latest and greatest in public safety technology made a stop in Green Bay on Tuesday.
The Axon Roadshow paid a visit to the Green Bay Police Department, giving officers from across Northeast Wisconsin the opportunity to put Axon’s gadgets and software into action.
Derek Disorbo, Axon Roadshow coordinator team lead, describes Axon as a public safety tech company that uses body cameras, drones, tasers and digital evidence software systems to help people stay safe in their everyday lives.
Much of Axon’s technology is utilized by police departments, but many of the company’s devices can be purchased by the general public, as well.
“All of these products you see here are actually out on the market right now,” Disorbo said.
