GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — The Green Bay Police Department is partnering with The Community; a Milwaukee-based organization aimed at showcasing the successes, humanity, and agency of people with criminal records.
The two organizations will host a panel discussion following a free public screening of Correcting the Narrative; A film that engages the public in breaking away from stereotypes and speculation of formerly incarcerated people by promoting acceptance.
The event will be held at UWGB inside the Phoenix Rooms in the University Union Building on Wednesday beginning at 6 p.m.
Green Police Chief Chief Chris Davis, other law enforcement officials, and nonprofit organizations will participate in the panel discussion. Click here to register to attend.
