GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Prosecutors dismissed charges in a Green Bay west-side shooting.
Jaylon Crawford had been facing two counts, including second-degree recklessly endangering safety, for the Nov. 13 incident near the 1600 block of Christiana Street. But prosecutors asked for the charges to be dismissed Wednesday, court records show.
The dismissal happened in a way such that prosecutors could refile the case.
While the victim was driving to the hospital to seek medical attention, the victim crashed head-on into another vehicle near the intersection of Badger Street and Badger Lane. This crash caused minor injuries to another driver, a 32-year-old woman.
Police say the shooting happened after there was a disagreement between Crawford and the victim, therefore it’s believed to be an isolated incident.
