MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A $500 reward is being offered to anyone with information leading to the arrest of a person accused of stealing a vehicle in Manitowoc and abandoning it in Green Bay days later.
Police say on Oct. 31, the suspect entered a black 2014 Chevrolet Malibu while it was parked near the Family Dollar in Manitowoc and drove off without the owner’s consent.
Several photographs of the person of interest entering and exiting the store were recovered from surveillance systems.
A few days later, on Nov. 5, the car was found abandoned near the area of Preble Avenue in Green Bay.
Police are asking the public for help in identifying the individual in the surveillance footage.
Callers with information could become eligible to receive a reward of up to $500 by calling Crime Stoppers at (920) 683-4466 or by utilizing the P3 App. Tipsters may also contact Detective Eric Schultz at (920) 686-3599.
