(WNFL) – The Green Knights scored 3 goals in the first period and St. Norbert went on to defeat the UW-Eau Claire Blugolds 5-1 at the Cornerstone Community Center in De Pere on Friday.
Logan Dombrowsky put St. Norbert up 1-0 early in the first period before Liam Fraser and Brock Baker also added first-period goals.
After a scoreless second period, Byron Hartley and Ian Famulak scored for the Green Knights.
Nolan Grier scored for Eau Claire.
Hunter Garvey had 18 saves for St. Norbert.
Max Gutjahr had 22 saves for UW-Eau Claire.

- St. Norbert now 10-0 on the season, matching its best start since going 10-0 to open the 2002-03 season.
