(LEARFIELD) BUFFALO – Former Packer defensive back Micah Hyde has told a Buffalo reporter he plans to retire from the NFL.
Hyde didn’t play for the Bills this season as he recovered from neck surgery.
He spent his first four pro seasons in Green Bay after being taken in the fifth round of the 2013 NFL Draft.
Hyde was named All-Pro twice, appearing in 63 games and picking off eight passes. He mostly played slot cornerback.
His departure after the 2016 season left the Packers with a defensive hole until Xavier McKinney was signed before the 2024 season.
