February 4, 2025 – DAIRY NEWS – For the eighth year, the dairy community is coming together to invest in the future of dairy through education. Dairy’s Foundation® proudly launched the annual Plant a Seed, Inspire a Dream campaign, with the goal of raising $75,000 to support educational programs that strengthen the dairy industry and its connection with consumers.
This year, four industry heroes—Pipping Concrete, Ag Country Farm Credit Services, Mullins Cheese, and CP Feeds—are stepping up in a big way to rally support for dairy education. These companies, deeply rooted in the industry, are championing the campaign alongside two prominent boards of dairy farmers: Dairy’s Foundation Board of Directors and the Professional Dairy Producers Board of Directors.
“Our industry thrives because of the commitment of leaders who invest in the future, and this year, we are incredibly grateful to our industry heroes for stepping forward,” said Brian Forrest, dairy producer from Stratford, Wis., and chair of Dairy’s Foundation Board of Directors. “Their leadership exemplifies the spirit of dairy—working together, hand in hand, to grow and strengthen our industry.”
The 2025 campaign goal is $75,000, with every dollar donated multiplying through the generous matching contributions from Dairy’s Foundation partners. Donations can be made at www.dairyfoundation.org.
For more than two decades, Dairy’s Foundation has been dedicated to raising funds and awarding grants for educational and sustainability initiatives that benefit dairy producers, industry professionals, and consumers.
“The dairy industry is built on a legacy of learning—continuing education for dairy producers, training for the next generation of leaders, and sharing knowledge with consumers,” Forrest said. “This campaign allows us to continue that mission, ensuring the industry remains strong, innovative, and connected to the people it serves.”
Dairy’s Foundation, a national public-held foundation, was established by Professional Dairy Producers in 2002 as a way to raise funds and award grants for educational programs. The Foundation is a 501(c)3 entity. Our mission is to share ideas, resources and experiences about important issues surrounding the dairy industry through educational opportunities for dairy producers and the public.
