(247NEWSSOURCE) – Wisconsin is making a move on the football staff.
The team announced yesterday that head coach Luke Fickell has been extended.
Financial numbers weren’t disclosed, but the deal will keep him in Madison through the 2032 season.
Fickell oversaw the Badgers’ first losing season since 2001 this past year.
Other Badgers coaches getting their contracts extended by a year yesterday included: volleyball coach Kelly Sheffield through Jan. 31, 2023; women’s soccer coach Paula Wilkins through Jan. 31, 2030 and men’s soccer coach Neil Jones through Jan. 31 2023.
