GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is making its largest investment ever in its Green Bay hospitals.
HSHS is putting $270 million into its St. Mary’s hospital location on Shawano Avenue and its St. Vincent hospital location on South Van Buren Street.
The investment will modernize and expand the hospitals to better care for the growing Brown County community.
The largest portion of the investment will go toward expanding St. Mary’s, the city’s only west side hospital.
Work is expected to begin in summer and will take about three years to complete.
In Northeast Wisconsin, HSHS also operates St. Clare Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls and St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.
