MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — No one was injured after a fire in the 1300 block of S. 36th Street Wednesday night.
The first engine was on scene within three minutes.
All of the people inside the home safely evacuated.
The fire was put out in seven minutes.
Fire officials say it appears the fire originated inside the house.
No current dollar loss is available at this time.
The Manitowoc Fire Rescue Department also shared the following statement,
The Manitowoc Fire Rescue Department would like to stress the importance of working smoke detectors in the home and add a friendly reminder that all batteries in smoke detectors should be checked twice a year.
