(LEARFIELD) INDIANAPOLIS – Six-11 sophomore forward Nolan Winter scored an efficient 18 points to lead the Badgers to a 70-63 win over Northwestern Thursday in a second-round Big Ten Tournament game.
Winter connected on 4-of-5 floor shots and 9-of-10 free throws with a pair of 3-pointers added. John Tonje also had 18.
The Badgers’ Kamari McGee said that Nolan Winter came to play.

Wisconsin’s biggest lead was 16 points, 62-46, with just under nine minutes remaining in the Big Ten tournament game.
