(LEARFIELD) MINNEAPOLIS – The fourth-ranked Minnesota Golden Gopher women’s hockey team faces a familiar foe in the national semifinals tonight in Minneapolis.
The 2025 Women’s Hockey Frozen Four takes place at Ridder Arena and Minnesota is skating against top-ranked Wisconsin at 7:30 P-M.
The Golden Gophers are 29-11-and-1 on the season, while the visiting Badgers are 36-1-and-2 this year.
Badgers coach Mark Johnson said the key is keeping distractions from slowing them down.

Wisconsin has won all five previous meetings between the two power house programs this season, including two weeks ago in the W-C-H-A Final Faceoff championship 3-2.
The other national semifinal game today features second-rated Ohio State against number-three Cornell at 4 P-M.
The winners of both games will face off for the national championship on Sunday afternoon at 3 P-M.
