GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Green Bay has rolled out the red carpet for 007’s legendary car collection.
The Automobile Gallery is preparing for the exclusive Ian Fleming Foundation’s James Bond Collection exhibit.
Twelve iconic, original movie vehicles from the James Bond franchise were wheeled into the gallery Thursday.
Darrel Burnett of The Automobile Gallery says this is the first time the exhibit has been in Wisconsin.
“To put this in perspective, these vehicles have been literally around the world and to be able to have them right here in Green Bay, Wisconsin for everyone’s enjoyment is not only something that is a true milestone for us but it’s extremely pleasing for me personally to be able to make this happen,” he said.
The exhibit will feature 12 of the most iconic Bond classics:
Aston Martin Vantage V8 (1987) -The Living Daylights
Wetbike (1977) – The Spy Who Loved Me
Q-Boat (1999) – The World is Not Enough
Jaguar XKR (2002) – Die Another Day
Flying Parahawk (1999) – The World is Not Enough
Lotus Submarine (1977) – The Spy Who Loved Me
Cagiva Motorcycle (1995) – Golden Eye
BMW Motorcycle (1997) – Tomorrow Never Dies
Switchblade Glider (2002) – Die Another Day
JetStar Model (1964) – Goldfinger
Citroen CV3 Body (1981) – For Your Eyes Only
Paravane (1981) – A Towable Buoy – For Your Eyes Only
The year-long exhibit will open to the public on April 23.
It will also include James Bond movie artifacts for visitors to see.
