WINNEBAGO COUNTY (WTAQ-WLUK) — One person is dead after a crash on highway 45 in Oshkosh Saturday night.
At approximately 9:13 p.m. deputies were called to Highway 45, north of County Trunk Y, for reports of a single-vehicle accident.
Upon arrival, deputies found a utility van flipped on it’s roof, partially submerged in water.
The occupant inside the vehicle was reported deceased at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
According to officials, the occupant was traveling northbound at a high-rate of speed before entering the ditch and rolling.
The identity of the individual has not yet been released.
