GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Eligible organizations are invited to apply for annual grants from the Green Bay Packers Foundation.
2025 marks the third year of the foundation’s current three-year grant cycle. Different focus areas are featured through the application process each year.
This year, the foundation will award funding to Wisconsin nonprofits addressing animal welfare, environmental causes and health and wellness — including drug, alcohol and domestic violence and civic and community initiatives.
The application period is open now and will close July 7. Only organizations whose programs fit the established criteria will be considered for grants.
All grant applications will be reviewed by the Green Bay Packers Foundation trustees. The list of grant recipients will be finalized in October and a public reveal of the winners will take place in November or December.
Grant amounts can range from $3,000 to $8,000. Distributions vary annually based on number of applications and total amount of funding approved for distribution.
To be eligible to apply for a grant, organizations must:
- Fit the established focus criteria listed above
- Classify as exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code, with a valid IRS Tax ID, for a minimum of two years
- Be located in Wisconsin
- Have not applied for a grant in the past two cycles
