(LEARFIELD) – Legendary Wisconsin women’s hockey star Brianna Decker is headed for the Hockey Hall of Fame.
Decker will be inducted in Toronto next November.
She becomes the first UW women’s hockey player to be honored that way.
She skated for coach Mark Johnson’s team from 2009 to 2013, leading the way to a 2011 NCAA National Championship as a sophomore.
She is the third-leading scorer in program history with 115 goals.
