(WNFL) – The Madison Mallard jumped out toa 5-0 lead after 2 innings and went on to post a 5-1 victory over the Green Bay Rockers in Madison on Sunday.
The Rockers were limited to just 4 hits, scoring their only run in the third inning.
Collin Helms went 3-for-3 for the Rockers and accounted for the team’s lone run with his third home run of the season.
Ty Brooks pitched 5 innings, allowing 1 run on 3 htis and 3 walks while striking out 5 to get the win for Madison.
Gavin Brummond went 4 innings for Green Bay. He allowed 5 runs on 6 hits and 2 walks while striking out 2 while being charged with the loss.
