(ST. NORBERT COMMUNICATIONS DE PERE – St. Norbert College fell prey to an early goal in what proved to be the deciding moment of the contest against Dominican University in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference game at Schneider Stadium.
The Green Knights (5-5, 3-1 NACC) conceded just 25 seconds into the game, the first time they had trailed in a game in nearly a month. Everett Saeger, Ben Swicionis and Hayden Dunn led the St. Norbert charge after conceding, combining for four shots on goal in the first half.
Will Swicionis (pictured) and Kevin Ramirez had opportunities in the second half to tie the game, but both shots were ultimately saved.
St. Norbert outshot the Stars 13-6 and compiled a 8-1 advantage in corner kicks. Jackson Kiszka made three saves, while Dominican’s Cody Leyba made six.
The Green Knights committed six fouls compared to Dominican’s 12.
Tristen Banquil scored the game’s lone goal for Dominican.

DE PERE – St. Norbert College struggled to muster offense against Dominican University, falling by a score of 2-0 in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference game at Schneider Stadium.
The Green Knights (1-8, 1-3 NACC) trailed early following a Dominican goal at 6:35 and conceded a second at 52:05 thanks to a 30-yard free kick from Mia Dosen. Brynn Gunderson had St. Norbert’s best opportunity, with her shot from the right wing being saved in the final seconds.
Taylor Wilson (pictured) had a busy day in goal, making 11 saves.
The Green Knights were outgained 8-0 in corner kicks and committed nine fouls compared to Dominican’s four.
