BASEBALL
Position
Nelson Phillips IV, Senior (Elm Grove, Wis./Brookfield East), Outfield of UW-Whitewater
Phillips IV led the Warhawks at the plate in their 5-0 start to the Pensacola Blue Wahoos Challenge. He had an OPS of 1.367 and a batting average of .600 with seven runs scored. Once on base, Phillips IV went five-for-five on steal attempts.

Meuser helped the Blugolds to their second win of the season on March 10. He faced 20 batters through 6 scoreless innings and surrendered just one hit against Carleton College (Minn.). During his outing, Meuser struck out seven and walked just one batter while posting a 0.00 ERA.

WOMEN’S LACROSSE
Offense
Mai Nou Vang, Senior (Green Bay, Wis./Green Bay Preble), Midfield of UW-Stout
Vang scored 18 goals and added three assists for 21 points in UW-Stout’s three games during the week. She had 32 shots on goal (86.5%) and totaled 27 draw controls, three ground balls and three caused turnovers. Against UW-Eau Claire, she scored four goals on five shots and added an assist, while added 13 draw controls. At Concordia University (Wis.), Vang scored seven goals, including the game winner and added eight draw controls. Then to wrap up the week at Trine University (Ind.), she scored seven goals on nine shots and dished out 2 assists, while adding six more draw controls.

Fischer nearly recorded a shutout, allowing just one goal while making six saves as the College of Saint Benedict improved to 2-0 with a 21-1 home win over the Milwaukee School of Engineering. She has allowed just three goals in two games, covering 120 minutes.

Stephanie Kuhn, Junior (Apple Valley, Minn./Eastview), Rightfield of UW-Stout
Kuhn hit .417 (10-24) with an on-base percentage of .417, a slugging percentage of .708, 13 RBI, nine runs scored, four doubles and a home run in six games in Florida during the week. She had four multi-hit games. Against Thomas College (Maine) she went 2-3 with 6 RBI. She had a bases clearing single in the 1st inning, then in her next at bat she cleared the bases again with a double. In the field, Kuhn had nine putout and two outfield assists.

Wilkins pitched 13.1 innings in four appearances (3-1) in Florida during the week. She allowed 10 hits, and four earned runs, while striking out 20 and only walking four. At the dish, Kuhn went 7-18, with an on-base percentage of .500 and slugging percentage of .778. She had a double, two home runs and drove in seven.
