(WNFL) – The Milwaukee Bucks played without several players against the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday afternoon at FiServ Forum and it showed in a 127-95 loss which eliminated the Bucks from playoff contention.
The Bucks played without Giannis Antetokounmpo, Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Kevin Porter Jr., Bobby Portis, Kyle Kuzma and Gary Harris.
The Spurs who led by 22 at halftime were led by Stephon Castle who posted a triple-double with 22 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.
Victor Wembanyama had 23 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists for San Antonio which never trailed and shot over 55% from the floor.
Gary Trent Jr scored 18 to lead the Bucks. Myles Turner scored 15 while Ousmane Dieng and Ryan Rollins both scored 12.
Milwaukee which has lost 9 of its last 11 games and had its streak of post-season appearances snapped at 9 with the loss will host the Los Angeles Clippers Sunday afternoon.
The game can be heard beginning at 2 p.m. on 99.7 and 101.9 WNFL.
