(GREEN BAY ATHLETICS) BATAVIA, OHIO – The Green Bay men’s golf team wrapped up the NKU Spring Julie Invitational hosted at Elks Run GC on Tuesday. The Phoenix men finished 11th out of 14 teams. Oakland won the event, shooting +15 across three rounds as a team.
Two Phoenix started the invitational with an under-par round, with Yinta Yang shooting a 69 (-2) in round one, and Mason Haupt firing off a 70 (-1). At the end of Tuesday, however, it was Lincoln Hottmann who led the Phoenix.
Hottmann shot a 79 in round one before shooting a 72 in round two and a 73 in round three.
Green Bay is back in action next weekend when they travel to Springboro, Ohio, for the Wright State Invitational hosted at Heatherwoode GC on Sunday, April 12, and Monday, April 13.
