GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Police are still searching for two drivers involved in a shots-fired incident on Green Bay’s west side.
Around 3:10 p.m. Tuesday, the Green Bay Police Department responded to the 1500 block of Velp Avenue for a report of shots being fired and two vehicles fleeing.
Officers were told two people were traveling in a silver SUV, but then one exited that vehicle and got into a purple sedan. Moments later, shots were fired by another party, who has been identified, and both vehicles fled.
Authorities said the silver SUV was located in another jurisdiction within minutes of the incident being reported, but police are currently searching for the purple sedan and both drivers. The firearm used has been recovered.
At this time, no arrests have been made and no injuries have been reported.
