(LEARFIELD) – The Packers pay their running backs a lot of money, but several NFL analysts are questioning the productivity the team can expect.
Josh Jacobs is the lead running back for Green Bay, but his statistics slid backward in the 2025 season, and he has been arrested in a domestic abuse case.
Jacobs has denied the accusations.
Sports Illustrated reports that only two NFL teams spend more than the 21 million dollars the Packers pay their running backs.
Some of the backsliding could be blamed on the knee injury Jacobs suffered during the season and the disappointing performance by his offensive line.
