Sept 23 (Reuters) – Fay, located near the Azores, regained tropical storm status, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said in its latest advisory.
The storm was about 935 miles (1,505 km) west-southwest of the Azores, packing maximum sustained winds of 40 mph (65 km/h).
“Little change in strength is forecast during the next day or two, with gradual weakening expected thereafter,” the NHC added.
