It will be located at the former University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Fox Cities campus, 1655 University Drive, in Menasha. It is scheduled to remain open for at least 30 days.
A second center will open at the Grand Chute Fire Department, 2250 Grand Chute Blvd., on Oct. 26. It will be open for one week.

- Tuesday and Thursday: 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
- Saturday: 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

Representatives from FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration are scheduled to be on hand to answer questions, help with applications and assist people in navigating federal recovery programs.
Earlier this month, President Donald Trump approved $17.9 million in FEMA relief funds. Those affected by the July 27 tornado in Menasha, Appleton, Fox Crossing and Neenah are eligible.
“We are pleased to have FEMA and SBA resources available locally for residents and businesses impacted by the July 27 tornado,” Winnebago County Emergency Management Director Eric Rassmussen said in a news release. “Our community has made significant progress in recovery, thanks to the work of local organizations, volunteers and neighbors helping neighbors. These additional federal resources provide another opportunity for those still facing challenges to get the assistance they need.”
“Residents impacted by the July 27 tornado are strongly encouraged to apply for FEMA assistance,” Paula Van De Leygraaf, Outagamie County Emergency Management director, said in a news release. “These funds may help eligible households address disaster-related costs and support the recovery and rebuilding process. Applying is an important first step toward accessing the resources available to help our community move forward.”
